This historic home was on a list of subjects to paint en plein air for the annual Friends of Oberlin Village call for art. A charming home but with one end under construction for an addition. I found this angle to work from, and was intrigued by the shadow this home cast on the neighboring home. That purply shadow, the sunlight hitting the landscape, and the warm light bouncing in the porch added to its charm.
