Turnaround time is generally 30 - 45 days but depends on the complexity of the painting.
My process:
1. I prefer to take my own photos to work from, however, I am open to using photos provided by the collector. Photos with great light and shadows work best.
2. Once we settle on which photo(s) to work from, I will provide one or more sketches of my idea(s).
3. After agreeing on which sketch will become the painting, the collector is asked to sign a contract and provide a 50% non-refundable booking fee.
4. Once the painting is approximately 80% complete, I will provide a photograph for review and input from the collector.
5. A final photograph is provided when the painting is complete.
6. Oil paintings can take anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks to dry. Once dry, I will varnish the painting.
7. The finished painting will be delivered or shipped upon receiving final payment.
